Alamo Brass is a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee. Products sold through this website are firearm parts and components only.
What we sell online
Everything listed on this website is a firearm part or component. We do not sell complete firearms, frames, or receivers through this website. Barrels, barrel blanks, barrel extensions, and stripped upper receivers are not firearms under the Gun Control Act, require no FFL transfer, and ship directly to the purchaser.
If you want to purchase a complete firearm, contact the shop directly. Those sales are handled in person and are subject to a background check and all applicable federal, state, and local law.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from this website. By ordering you represent that:
- You are 18 or older
- You are not prohibited under federal, state, or local law from possessing firearms or firearm parts
- The items you are ordering are legal to possess in your jurisdiction
- You are purchasing for yourself, not as a straw purchaser for another person
You are responsible for compliance with your local law
Firearm parts law varies significantly by state, county, and city. Some jurisdictions restrict specific barrel lengths, calibers, configurations, or component types. It is your responsibility to know and follow the law where you live.
We do not provide legal advice and cannot tell you whether a given item is legal in your jurisdiction. If you are unsure, consult an attorney or your state authority before ordering.
By placing an order you certify that possession of the items ordered is lawful at your shipping address. If we have reason to believe an order would violate law, we may cancel and refund it at our discretion.
Barrel length and NFA
Rifle barrels shorter than 16 inches and shotgun barrels shorter than 18 inches can create a short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun when assembled onto a rifle or shotgun receiver. Those are NFA-regulated items requiring ATF approval before assembly.
Short barrels sold on this site are intended for lawful configurations such as registered SBRs, AR pistols, and firearms not otherwise regulated. You are solely responsible for ensuring your assembled configuration is lawful. Constructive possession rules apply. If you do not know what that means, do not buy a short barrel until you do.
No export
We ship within the United States only. Firearm barrels and related components are subject to U.S. export control regulations. We do not ship internationally, to freight forwarders, or to any address we believe is intended for export. Orders that appear to be for export will be cancelled and refunded.
Pricing and availability
Prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice. Quantities are limited to inventory on hand. In the event of a pricing error or an item selling out before your order is processed, we will contact you and either fulfill at the correct price with your approval or cancel and refund in full.
Volume pricing tiers, where offered, are applied automatically at checkout based on quantity.
Order acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inability to verify information, pricing errors, inventory shortfall, or any circumstance where we believe fulfilling the order would be unlawful.
Payment
We accept major credit and debit cards processed through Authorize.Net. Card data is transmitted directly to the payment processor and is not stored on our servers. Payment is charged at the time the order is placed.
Limitation of liability
Products are sold as-is except as stated in the warranty section below. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alamo Brass is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, use, or misuse of any product sold, including damage to property, injury, or death.
Firearm components are inherently dangerous when misused or improperly assembled. Assembly, headspacing, chambering, and safe function checks are the responsibility of the purchaser or a qualified gunsmith. If you are not qualified to safely assemble and verify a firearm, have a gunsmith do it.
Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the item giving rise to the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Venue for any dispute is Comal County, Texas.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted at the time you place an order governs that order.
