Alamo Brass (“we,” “us”) operates alamobrass.com. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you place an order: name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and order contents.
Payment information: card details are entered into a secure field hosted by our payment processor and transmitted directly to them. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only the last four digits and card type for order reference.
Automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site. This is standard web server and analytics data.
If you create an account: username, password (stored hashed), and saved addresses.
How we use it
- To process, fulfill, and ship your order
- To contact you about your order
- To handle returns, defects, and support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud
- To meet legal and recordkeeping obligations
- To send marketing email, only if you opt in
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- Payment processor (Authorize.Net) to charge your card
- Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS) to deliver your order
- Our hosting provider which stores the site and database
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law, subpoena, or in connection with our obligations as a Federal Firearms Licensee
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share customer lists with data brokers or advertisers.
Recordkeeping
As an FFL, we are subject to federal recordkeeping and inspection requirements. Records related to regulated transactions are retained and made available to ATF as the law requires. Note that the parts sold on this website are not firearms and do not generate acquisition and disposition records.
Ordinary sales and tax records are retained as long as required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your shopping cart working, keep you logged in, and understand site traffic. Cart and session cookies are required for the site to function. You can block cookies in your browser, but checkout will not work without them.
Security
The site uses TLS encryption on every page. Card data is tokenized by our processor and does not touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.
Your choices
Email FFL@alamobrass.com to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data, subject to records we are legally required to keep
- Unsubscribe from marketing email (or use the link in any marketing message)
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by the date at the top.
